Two SOAR program dates still available
Morehead State University will host Student Orientation, Advising and Registration (SOAR) programs in preparation for the 2013 fall semester. First-year and transfer students will register for their classes during these events.

‘Donor Challenge’ met
Morehead State University alumni and friends rose to the challenge Thursday, May 16. According to University Advancement, MSU received nearly 600 gifts and more than $35,000 during the “Donor Challenge.”

Flippin to be honored by Lexington Singers
Morehead State University professor emeritus Jay Flippin will be honored Saturday, May 18, and Sunday, May 19, as the Lexington Singers will present “A Broadway Celebration Salute to Jay Flippin.”

Campuses confer more than 61K degrees, credentials in 2012-13
Officials at Kentucky’s public and independent colleges and universities estimate that they have conferred 61,472 degrees and credentials during the 2012‐13 academic year, with historic levels continuing at the associate, baccalaureate, master’s and professional practice doctoral levels.

MSUPD received reaccreditation by KACP
Morehead State University Police Department has received its fourth, five-year certificate of accreditation by the Kentucky Association of Chiefs of Police (KACP).
