SBDC to offer business workshop in Beattyville

Morehead State University’s East Kentucky Small Business Development Center (SBDC) along with Mountain Association for Community Economic Development  (MACED), People Encouraging People (PEP) and Southeast Kentucky Economic Development (SKED), will host “How to Finance a New or Existing Business,” Monday, Oct. 27, from 6-7:30 p.m. at the PEP Building in downtown Beattyville, located at 70 Locust Street.


Rowan County students visit Early College Program

Students from Rowan County Senior High School visited the Morehead State University campus, as part of the Early College Program, Monday, Oct. 13.

‘Chris Henry: A Story of Hope’ slated for Friday

Morehead State University and the Kentucky Organ Donor Affiliates (KODA) will present “Chris Henry: A Story of Hope” Friday, Oct. 24, at 7 p.m. in the Laughlin Health Building. The presentation is free and open to all students, faculty and staff.

Star Theater announces October shows

Morehead State University’s Star Theater will feature several favorites and its most popular live program for the month of October.

Record number attends Fall Career Fair

Morehead State University held its annual Fall Career Fair with 83 organizations, which included employers and graduate schools Tuesday, Oct. 7. A record 475 students, alumni and community members networked with employers and graduate programs with the hope of landing an interview for an internship, part-time or full-time position.
